Kaptagat Forest restoration work in Uasin Gishu
Kaptagat Forest, Uasin Gishu

Kaptagat's cedar and podo stands are old growth — slow to regrow if lost. Our work here is narrower than at Kesup: protecting what remains, fencing the most vulnerable spring catchments, and running joint patrols with Kenya Forest Service against illegal logging.
